The Autonomous Region is a San Francisco-based Urban Rock Band presenting original music reflective of the unique Bay Area Experience. Vocalist and Songwriter Caroline Cabading leads an eclectic blend of musicians who have performed professionaly in the genres of Metal, Hip Hop, Punk, Funk, R&B and Jazz and now come together drawing from all of these elements to create an engaging sound that is at times edgy and humorous.

Highly influenced by San Francisco's heritage as the home of music innovators and anarchistic thinkers, their sound is infused with progressive commentaries brought to life by the full-out passion expressed in their live stage performances. While very much the children of San Francisco's more raw-edged urban scene, the message behind their lyrics and melodies also speaks of individuals committed to social consciousness and political empowerment.
