Misha Segal lost his best friend -- his mother, Elisabeth -- on Mother's Day, 2001, after a 6 year battle with lung cancer.  The kind of lady who would walk to a Broadway show after chemotherapy, Elisabeth always said "Everything happens for a reason; if even for the moment it doesn't seem so, the future reveals something good will come of it."

Misha brings Elisabeth's spirit across the United States via his concert series, "Beauty found in Unlikely Places", featuring his piano music, "Female" dedicated to his mother and all women.
