Folk, Roots Rock songwriter Rod Neufeld is from Vernon B.C. Canada and has released two CD's, 'Milltown', and 'Kids In Vernon'.  These CD's contain songs about birth, rebirth, death and the life that occurs in between.

Neufeld is a lyrical songwriter and is adept at writing narrative story songs. He likes to leave the listener with a sense of mystery as if they had been eves-dropping on a conversation that they really shouldn't have been hearing.

His influences range from Dylan and Young to Lucinda Williams and Steve Earle.  The songs on 'Milltown' are real life vignettes of rural character, crafted with insight and intelligence in the genre of a musical folk-tale. 'Kids In Vernon' is a collection of mainly acoustic guitar driven bittersweet narratives that look back on his early days in the North Okanagan and Vancouver.
